President Tinubu and Top Politicians Advocate Unity and Reflection During Eid Celebrations

NIGERIA’s President Bola Tinubu, along with Governor Seminilayi Fubara, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Lagos Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, joined Muslims worldwide in celebrating Eid-el-Fitri.

In their shared messages with JKNewsMedia, they emphasized the importance of religious tolerance, unity and reflecting on teachings promoting submission to God and compassion towards humanity.

President Tinubu, represented by Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Hamzat, urged citizens to empathize with others regardless of their beliefs.

Through spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale, he encouraged Muslims to embrace the teachings of submission and wished them blessings for the season.

Chief Imam of Lagos, Sulaymon Abu Nolla, urged Nigerians to maintain faith in the country during his sermon.

Governor Seninilayi Fubara, through his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi urged believers to uphold their prophet’s teaching and live by the fear of God.

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, via his Special Adiver on Media and Publicity, Eseme Eyiboh, called for prayers for leaders, including peace and unity while celebrating with Muslims on the completion of Ramadan.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, extended her felicitations to Muslims and encouraged Islamic scholars to demonstrate good deeds in their daily lives.

Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, through his Chief Press Secretary, Eromosele Abhomele, emphasized the importance of patriotism for national prosperity and called for collaborative efforts, especially in Lagos State, for effective governance. President Tinubu said the shared message of the year 2024 Eid is to stress the themes of unity, love and self-reflection during this period of celebration
