IN HIS commitment to collaborate with the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Governor Siminalayi Fubara has noted that this has become paramount for good governance in Rivers State.
At a meeting with the River State chapter of IPAC, led by its Chairman, Barrister Sensei Osaro, at the Government House in Port Harcourt, Fubara assured the creation of a conducive atmosphere for opposition parties to operate, welcoming criticism from all quarters, including IPAC, stating the government improves through constructive feedback.
Fubara also commended the delegates for their engagement and pledged to work with them towards a better Rivers State, promising to provide utility vehicles to aid in their duties.
Sensei Osaro, Rivers State Chairman of IPAC, announced the designation of Governor Fubara as the Grand Patron and Leaders of the forum, accompanied by a vote of confidence passed during the meeting.
The event, attended by over 17 states chairmen of registered political parties, concluded with the presentation of a certification of recognition to Governor Fubara at the State House.
