STRATEGIZING to broaden the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s influence in the South-South geopolitical zone, Senate President Godswill Akpabio has urged party members to amplify their efforts to extend the party’s reach beyond its current boundaries.

Akpabio made the remarks during a courtesy visit by APC chairmen from South-South region in Abuja on Sunday.

He acknowledged the challenges faced by the party chairmen, pledging to convene a meeting of key stakeholders, including state chairpersons, National Assembly members, ministers and other appointees from the region.

He said the objective of the gathering would be to craft strategies to reinforce support for the party across various state chapters, to foster unity and collaboration amongst elected officials and party members.
