Tinubu Heads to Senegal for Faye’s Inauguration

NIGERIA’s President Bola Tinubu, also the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), will lead a delegation to Senegal for the inauguration of President-elect Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

The departure from Abuja tomorrow, Tuesday, is in response to Senegal’s invitation, as confirmed by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

As the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of States and Government Chair, President Tinubu will join regional leaders at the Diamniadio Exhibition Centre for the event.

The delegation includes Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar and other senior government officials.

President Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria after the inauguration ceremony concludes.
