The President’s wife emphasized the importance of love, care, and compassion from parents and guardians towards the nation’s youth, highlighting the immense joy children bring to families and society.

In her address, Senator Tinubu urged the young minds to remain curious, pursue education fervently, and dream ambitiously despite any hurdles they might encounter underscoring that acquiring the right education and the habit of questioning are pivotal for their future success.

A significant highlight of the event was the announcement of the Young Farmers Club, a novel initiative set to be rolled out in public primary and secondary schools nationwide through her husband’s Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) with its motto “Growing the Food I Eat, Starts with Me,” seeks to instill a love for agriculture in the youth.

The first school to inaugurate the club will receive branded club T-shirts and trousers, with additional prizes for schools with exemplary farms, including renovations, laboratory equipment, ICT tools, and library enhancements.

She noted that President Tinubu’s vision is to create a nation where every child has the opportunity to realize their full potential amid his optimistic outlook for the future of Nigerian children resonated with all attendees.

Special appreciation was extended to Hajia Nana Shettima, wife of the Vice President, for her unwavering support and commendation.

The event saw participation from over 500 school children, who added vibrancy to the celebration with performances showcasing Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage through traditional dances and artistic expressions.

In a move to further support educational development, each participating school was awarded a grant of N10 million with the aim to address various developmental needs within the schools, reinforcing the government’s commitment to improving education infrastructure.

The wife of the president concluded with a call to action, urging everyone to continue supporting and celebrating the nation’s children, ensuring they grow into individuals who will make Nigeria proud.
