In a statement issued in Makurdi, Idoko stresses the urgent need for concerted efforts to address the prevalent scourge of malaria, acknowledging the pivotal role of community pharmacists as frontline healthcare providers, uniquely positioned to engage in the prevention, control, and treatment of malaria, owing to their expertise in medication engagement.

Expressing optimism amidst the grim statistics, Idoko lauds the development of malaria vaccine, viewing it as a potential game-changer in the ongoing battle against the disease if Nigeria.

Drawing parallels with other vaccines that have undergone rigorous screening and certification processes, she asserts confidence in the efficacy of the malaria vaccine to significantly mitigate the impact of the disease, thereby curbing its mortality rate and fostering public health advancement.
