OYSAA Launches Enforcement Drive in Ibadan to Retrieve Unpaid Debts from First-Party Clients

THE OYO State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OYSAA) has embarked on a vigorous two-day enforcement campaign within Ibadan to address the persistent issue of unpaid debts from First-Party Clients.

Highlighting the detrimental impact of these outstanding debts on the agency’s operations and the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of Oyo State, the Director-General of OYSAA, Honorable Oludolapo Eso-Ajanaku, underscored the urgency of the situation during yesterday’s enforcement activities in various parts of the Ibadan metropolis.

The enforcement drive aims to retrieve long-overdue payments, reinforce financial accountability, and raise awareness among business owners regarding the significance of promptly settling dues for signages within Oyo State’s jurisdiction.

Director-General Ajanaku emphasized that despite previous leniency and continuous encouragement extended by OYSAA, the persistent non-compliance necessitated a more stringent enforcement approach to address financial irregularities effectively.

Acknowledging the facilitative environment for businesses cultivated by the current administration under Governor Seyi Makinde, Director-General Ajanaku commended compliant businesses while urging others to fulfill their financial obligations promptly to avert disruptions to their operations.

In a resolute stance, the Director-General affirmed that OYSAA would no longer tolerate non-compliance, signaling the agency’s commitment to conducting periodic enforcement drives and encouraging proactive engagement from businesses to settle outstanding debts, thereby contributing to the economic prosperity of Oyo State.
