AI Revolution Summit to Transform Marketing and Content in Africa

INDUSTRY LEADERS, marketing technology experts, and content creators are set to gather in Lagos to explore AI’s transformative power in marketing, communications, and content creation in Africa.

The AI & Content, Marketing & Communications Revolution in Africa Summit is scheduled for July 26, 2024, at The Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, starting at 11 AM.  

AI Africa is hosted in partnership with Global Tech Africa.

A release issued say key panel discussions include, “The Future of Customer Engagement: AI Applications in Marketing.”

This panel, moderated by Ifeoma ‘Oma Areh of WildFlower PR, will feature experts like Oye Akideinde of Airtel, Chuka Obi of Glo, Rukevwe Toka, Marketing Manager for West Africa, and Fred Akinmuyisitan from The Heineken Company.

They will discuss how AI reshapes customer engagement strategies and drives marketing innovation.

Another significant discussion is “AI for Content Creation: Productivity, Revenue, and Ethics,” moderated by David I. Adeleke of Rest of World.

Panelists include Abuch Ugwu of Chocolate City/Humanz, tech content creator Tobi Ayeni (Ms. Techy), and Adedoyin Jaiyesimi of The Comms Avenue.

This session will highlight AI’s impact on content creation, productivity, revenue, and ethical considerations.

The summit will also showcase AI-driven products aimed at revolutionizing marketing, influencer marketing, and PR workflows. Attendees will get a first-hand look at innovative tools like Maxxiti and Palet.

Ifeoma ‘Oma Areh, the event organizer, emphasizes the significance of AI in Africa’s marketing, content, and communications sectors.

“AI is a catalyst for innovation and growth. The AI Ignite Africa Summit brings together visionaries and changemakers to harness AI’s power for a brighter future,” she said.

The summit, in partnership with Global Tech Africa, aims to foster growth opportunities and build a thriving tech landscape across the continent.

Dr. Inya Lawal, founder of Global Tech Africa, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting AI’s vital role in driving innovation and transformation across sectors.

“This summit will serve as a platform for industry leaders to share insights and explore new frontiers in customer engagement, marketing strategies, and content creation,” Dr. Lawal added.
