GOVERNOR SHERIFF Oborevwori of Delta State announced a collaboration with Julius Berger to redesign the Effurun roundabout, aiming for a cloverleaf and road expansion.

After inspecting the ongoing flyover construction at PTI junction in Uvwie Local Government Area, he expressed satisfaction with the progress.

Oborevwori praised Julius Berger’s commitment to delivering the project on time.

He emphasized that the redesign of Effurun roundabout is crucial for the road expansion to commence.

The governor mentioned the project’s 27-month timeline, noting that consistent payments would ensure timely completion.

Oborevwori highlighted Julius Berger’s effective traffic management around the construction site, noting several diversions created to ease traffic flow.

He mentioned the contract awarded to Transcorp Power for relocating high tension lines at PTI junction, with some materials pending importation.

The governor stated that most construction work is being done at the contractor’s yard, with precast jobs unaffected by rain.

He assured that the work would progress significantly before the dry season begins.
