Where Lies Your Motivation?

By David Onyeji

MOTIVATION ISN’T always easy to come by, especially when all hope seems lost.

It’s a driving force that pushes people to do what they must to thrive.

Without this force, necessary tasks can feel like burdens.

Moreover, motivation is so vital that neglecting it can lead to lukewarmness and complacency.

Motivation is the fire that burns within, the spark that sets our souls ablaze.

It is the reason we rise with the sun, and toil till the stars appear.

There are many winds that can fan this flame, some from within, like a burning desire to succeed, and others from without, like the encouragement of a wise elder.

But no matter its source, motivation is the magic that turns dreams into reality, and turns the impossible into the inevitable.

The forces that shape our motivation are like the rivers that flow into the ocean.

Our personal values and beliefs are like the mighty Niger, shaping our purpose and direction.

The environment and culture we inhabit are like the delta, influencing our flow and pace.

And the challenges we face are like the ocean’s tides, testing our strength and resilience.

Understanding these forces is crucial, for it is only then that we can harness our motivation to achieve greatness.

When motivation ebbs, like the retreating tide, we are left with the barrenness of procrastination.

Our dreams and goals, like unwatered plants, wither and die.

But when motivation, or do I add, inspiration flows, like the rising tide, we are unstoppable.

We achieve, we grow, and our souls are nourished.

The key is to recognize the tides of inspiration, to harness its power, and to never let it slip away, lest we be left with the bitter taste of regret and unfulfilled potential.

In the end, motivation is the wind in our sails, the fire in our belly, and the beat in our heart.

It is the force that drives us to achieve, to overcome, and to become.

We must cherish it, nurture it, and never let it fade.

For when we are motivated, we are unstoppable, and our dreams become the reality that shapes our lives and the world around us.
