PRESIDENT BOLA Tinubu will leave Abuja on Wednesday, August 14, for a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

This visit follows the invitation of Equatorial Guinea’s President, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

During the visit, President Tinubu will engage in key discussions aimed at bolstering relations between the two nations

Upon his arrival at the Presidential Villa in Malabo, President Tinubu is set to hold strategic meetings with President Mbasogo.

The discussions are expected to focus on mutual agreements, with a particular emphasis on the oil and gas sector and security cooperation.

These discussions will pave the way for the signing of important agreements, furthering the partnership between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.

Accompanying the President on this significant trip will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, along with other key members of Tinubu’s cabinet.

The delegation will actively participate in the signing of these bilateral agreements and explore additional opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
