OGUN STATE Governor Dapo Abiodun has instructed the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) to refund all administrative fees related to the ongoing civil service recruitment.

This decision was announced through a statement from the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi.

Historically, these fees, which cover costs for third-party independent examiners who manage and oversee the CBT tests and centers, have been standard practice.

Despite this tradition, the governor’s directive is reflecting a response to the current economic challenges and aims to ease the financial burden on applicants, according to the statement.

The state government’s move is seen regarded as part of its broader effort to address citizens’ hardships and generate employment opportunities.

As a result, all fees paid will be refunded, and any new applications will not incur additional charges, the statement reads.
