MATERNITY KITS have been donated to expectant mothers in Aiyetoro, Yaba, :agos, by the Fidelity Bank as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.

The initiative, under the Fidelity Helping Hands Programme (FHHP), aims to ease the financial burden on pregnant women in underserved communities.

Staff members identified the need and raised funds, with the bank matching their contributions to maximize the impact.

At a ceremony held at Aiyetoro Primary Health Centre, Dr. Meksley Nwagboh from Fidelity Bank presented the kits.

He emphasized the importance of health care, noting that financial struggles prevent many women from accessing vital ante-natal services, which contributes to maternal mortality.

The donation aims to encourage more women to attend health appointments and reduce this risk.

The Medical Officer of Health for Yaba, Dr. S.O. Oredein, thanked Fidelity Bank, stating the initiative would motivate expectant mothers to visit health centers more regularly.

One of the beneficiaries, Sekinat Aderoju, expressed gratitude, highlighting the relief this support brings.

Fidelity assures it would continue to drive impact through its CSR programmes, focusing on health, education, youth empowerment, and sustainability.
