Nigerian Film Legend ‘Agbako’ Dies, Industry Mourns

Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, who was believed to be between 101 and 102 years old, passed away on October 31, 2024.

His contributions spanned decades, marking him as one of the pioneering figures in Nigerian theater and Yoruba movies.

Bolaji Amusan, known widely as ‘Mr Latin’ and the President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), announced Agbako’s passing via Instagram.
