THE DELTA State Law Students Association of Nigeria (DELSAN) has expressed gratitude to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his administration’s support through bursary payments to the 2022/2023 alumni of Delta origin at the Nigerian Law School.
In a letter signed by DELSAN National President Akosa Daniels and former National President Innocent Ighoawworua, the law students highlighted how the bursary had provided critical financial relief and motivation for their career pursuits.
According to the letter, the bursary funding enabled recent graduates, now officially Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, to advance their academic and professional goals.
The students pointed out that the 2022/2023 graduating class included over ten First Class graduates from Delta, among them Umukoro Nyerovwo Godstime Esq., who emerged as the Best Male Graduate.
The letter recognized Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to educational development, stating that his leadership has significantly bolstered students’ welfare and the state’s educational standards.
DELSAN emphasized that the bursary support has inspired graduates to excel and contribute positively to Delta State’s progress, pledging to uphold this support by excelling in their professions.
