Israeli Strikes Decimate Hezbollah Command, Killing Senior Leaders in Beirut

By Joke Kujenya

ANOTHER SERIES of targeted airstrikes by Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), have struck at the heart of Hezbollah’s leadership in Lebanon.

Among those killed is Nabil Kaouk, a veteran Hezbollah commander, adding to the growing list of senior officials eliminated in just over a week.

Israeli F-35 jets, armed with bunker-buster bombs, struck a highly fortified underground command center in Beirut.

This attack follows the death of Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s long-time leader, who was killed on Friday.

A Lebanese security personnel revealed that an Iranian mole provided Israel with critical intelligence, pinpointing Nasrallah’s location.

Nasrallah was attending a meeting with other Hezbollah commanders at the time of the strike.

In total, twelve senior Hezbollah figures were in the underground bunker, including top Iranian military figures.

The strikes have left Hezbollah in disarray.

The group’s silence since the death of its top leaders has only added to the uncertainty surrounding its future.

Iran, a long-time backer of Hezbollah, is reportedly working to help the group reorganize and replace its fallen commanders.

Meanwhile, Israel continues to bombard Hezbollah infrastructure, attempting to prevent the group from regrouping.

In a separate strike, Israel also targeted Houthi militants in Yemen, following a missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport.

The Houthis retaliated by striking power plants and ports in the city of Hodeida, causing widespread damage.
