IN A wave of year-end excitement, Globacom has rewarded seventeen subscribers with cash prizes in its ongoing Glo Lucky Number game.
At a ceremony in Lagos, winners received cheques ranging from N100,000 to N1,000,000, while those outside Lagos collected their prizes at designated centres across the country.
Organised by Globacom in collaboration with NCC-licensed aggregator Pisimobile and VAS provider Yellowdot, the Glo Lucky Number game provides subscribers an opportunity to win cash daily.
The game involves random selection, where a subscriber’s number must sequentially match a chosen number from right to left.
One of the major winners, Yusuf Malzo, a Lagos-based dry cleaner originally from Bauchi State, walked away with N1,000,000. He expressed immense gratitude and shared plans to expand his business.
“This will change everything for me,” he said.
For Olajide Afolabi, a security guard from Ondo, winning N500,000 was nothing short of miraculous. Having played the game for months without success, he revealed that persistence paid off.
“I almost gave up, but I’m glad I didn’t,” he said, adding that the money would improve his family’s well-being.
Lagos-based driver Emmanuel Henry also joined the winners’ circle, receiving N100,000. Inspired by his victory, he vowed to keep participating, hoping for a chance to win even bigger prizes.
Mojeed Aluko, Globacom’s Head of Value-Added Services, explained the simplicity of the process, urging more subscribers to join.
“Subscribers can enter the game by dialling *4445# or texting WIN for daily draws, LW for weekly draws, or LM for monthly draws to 4445,” he explained.
The company announces that the next draw is slated for later this month, with many more prizes to be won in 2025 as Globacom reiterated its commitment to delighting subscribers with innovative rewards.
