GLOBACOM HAS announced a multi-city entertainment tour across Nigeria to showcase its latest youth-focused product, ‘My-G,’ designed to offer affordable data bundles and limitless entertainment to young Nigerians.
The My-G product provides special bundles enabling users to enjoy their favorite social media and streaming platforms, including WhatsApp, TikTok, Snapchat, BoomPlay, Audiomack, Instagram, and GloTV, at budget-friendly rates.
At a press event in Lagos, Globacom’s Director of Creativity, Mr. Chuka Obi, described My-G as a package that meets young people’s data needs without draining their wallets.
“The My-G package is tailored to keep the youth connected to entertainment platforms they love, without the financial strain,” he stated. Obi added that the nationwide tour would offer engaging experiences in various cities, with entertainment accessible through My-G subscriptions.
Youth leaders at the event praised Globacom for its commitment to youth empowerment and connectivity. “My-G is a valuable resource for academic and social engagement,” noted Morakinyo Olaolu, Student Union President at Yaba College of Technology.
Meanwhile, Lagos State University’s SUG President, Adebobola Ayomide, said My-G “will enable students to remain active online and enhance both academic and recreational pursuits.”
Adekanye Ibukunoluwa from the University of Lagos also acknowledged Glo’s focus on youth needs, particularly for affordable online access to essential resources.
Globacom further introduced an enhanced version of its Berekete plan, now named Berekete 10X, which offers tenfold recharge value, double data, and complimentary access to Instagram, TikTok, and other streaming services.
Additionally, the Glo Café app was reintroduced, highlighting its self-service features for data purchase, gifting, and more. New users of the app receive a bonus of 100 GB data, including 75GB instantly and additional installments.
