GLOBACOM HAS urged higher institutions in Oyo State to embrace digital solutions to boost productivity, security, and operational efficiency.
The company’s Head of Enterprise Business, Zakari Usman, made the call during a meeting on Thursday with leaders of private tertiary institutions in the state.
During a meeting led by the state’s Commissioner for Education, Prof. Waheed Adelabu, Globacom’s officials highlighted key areas for collaboration such as smart learning, e-governance, security surveillance, and improved internet connectivity.
The company emphasized its commitment to supporting the educational sector with user-friendly interfaces, interactive content, and personalized learning tools.
Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Waheed Adelabu, presided over the meeting, which follows a similar event with government-owned institutions held in August.
He praised Globacom’s continuous support for the state’s educational initiatives.
Globacom’s Enterprise Business Head for the West Region, Adeniyi Odejobi, highlighted areas for potential collaboration, including smart learning, e-governance, security surveillance, and enhanced internet connectivity.
He emphasized the importance of Globacom’s educational solutions in promoting a user-friendly interface, interactive content, and personalized learning paths.
Prof. Adelabu praised Globacom’s continuous support, expressing optimism that the company’s services would further strengthen education in Oyo State.
