DIDI ESTHER WALSON-Jack has been appointed by President Bola Tinubu as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
Her term begins on August 14, 2024.
Walson-Jack will succeed Folasade Yemi-Esan, who retires on August 13, 2024.
President Tinubu expressed gratitude to Yemi-Esan for her service.
He emphasized the importance of innovation and integrity in Walson-Jack’s new role.
Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson, confirmed her appointment on Wednesday.
Previous Roles in Civil Service
Appointed as a Federal Permanent Secretary in 2017, Walson-Jack has served in various ministries, most recently as the permanent secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education.

The president expects the new civil service head to uphold the regulations of the Civil Service and lead with dedication.
