PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu has arrived back in Nigeria this morning after a series of diplomatic engagements in Europe and Saudi Arabia, according to a statement released by the Presidency.
Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, made the announcement via social media, extending a warm welcome to the president.
Tinubu’s journey began over two weeks ago with a meeting in the Netherlands with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte. Sequel to this, he proceeded to Saudi Arabia to participate in a Special World Economic Forum (WEF) event.
After the summit in Riyadh, Tinubu continued his travels in Europre, extending his diplomatic engagements.
The President’s trip. Which commenced on April 22 with his departure from Abuja, included official visits and discussion in the Kingdom of The Netherlands at the invitation of Prime Minister of Rutte.
Subsequently, Tinubu attended the WEF in Riyadh between April 28 and 29, marking his presence on the international stage.
His extended absence from Nigeria following the Saudi summit sparked speculation about his whereabouts, but the statement from the Presidency confirms his return to the country this morning.
