PRESIDENT BOLA Tinubu began a three-day state visit to France, aiming to bolster Nigeria-France relations.
He was accompanied his wife, the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
Arriving at Orly Airport in Paris, they were welcomed with full military honours by the French Republican Guard.
On Thursday, President Tinubu will meet French President Emmanuel Macron at Les Invalides for talks focused on agriculture, security, education, health, and energy transition.
Tinubu aims to secure new opportunities in automation, entrepreneurship, and leadership for Nigerian youth through exchange programmes.
Both leaders will address economic collaboration in finance, trade, and solid minerals at a session hosted by the France-Nigeria Business Council.
They are also expected to discuss strategies to promote private sector growth.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, will meet Brigitte Macron to explore initiatives empowering women, children, and vulnerable groups.
The visit would conclude with a state dinner hosted by President Macron.
