President Tinubu Leaves China for London, Promises Enhanced Governance

PRESIDENT BOLA Tinubu left China on Friday, September 6, heading to London, UK, with a layover in Dubai, UAE.

Before his departure, Tinubu engaged with the Nigerian community in China at the China World Hotel.

He assured Nigerians abroad that his administration would aim to replicate China’s development successes in Nigeria.

Tinubu acknowledged the economic struggles Nigerians face, describing them as necessary for advancing infrastructure like roads, electricity, and schools.

The President called his visit to China “very good and successful.”

He met with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang, and participated in the 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit.
