IN A display of commitment to the people of Borno State, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has launched a medical outreach aimed at assisting over 2,000 displaced flood victims.
The outreach was accompanied by the distribution of food items to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the region.
In partnership with NAF, Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, contributed relief materials as part of the Renewed Hope Initiative of President Bola Tinubu.
On Wednesday, the materials were delivered to flood victims in Maiduguri by NAF’s C-130 Hercules aircraft, highlighting the force’s logistical capabilities.
The relief items, which included food, clothing, sanitary supplies for females, and toys for children, were received by senior officers from Operation HADIN KAI’s Air Component Commander.
These items were subsequently handed over to the Borno State government for distribution.
NAF reaffirmed its dedication to providing humanitarian support to affected communities, underscoring its role in aiding the region’s recovery from the recent flood disaster.
