Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol Price to N825 Per Litre, Assures Steady Supply

By Jemimah Wellington, JKNewsMedia Reporter

PETROL PRICES have dropped as Dangote Petroleum Refinery reduced its ex-depot rate from N890 to N825 per litre, offering relief to consumers across Nigeria.

The company said the revised pricing takes effect from 27th February 2025.

Under the new structure, MRS Holdings stations will sell at N860 per litre in Lagos, N870 in the South-West, N880 in the North, and N890 in the South-South and South-East.

AP (Ardova Petroleum) and Heyden stations will dispense at N865 in Lagos, N875 in the South-West, N885 in the North, and N895 in the South-South and South-East.

This price reduction aligns with efforts to cushion economic pressures and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recovery agenda.

The latest adjustment follows a previous N60 cut earlier in February, and a December 2024 reduction of N70.50 during the festive season.

Dangote Refinery reassured Nigerians of sufficient fuel supply to meet local demand while maintaining surplus stock for exports.

The company urged marketers to uphold fair pricing, ensuring consumers benefit from the lowered costs.
