CELEBRATIONS UNFOLDED across several Nigerian cities on Friday as telecommunications operator Globacom presented cash prizes worth millions of naira to its subscribers through the Jolly Product Cash Award initiative.
The company stated that the programme, which features Jolly Life Lottery, Jolly Wheel, Jolly Win, and Jolly Trivia, was designed to combine entertainment with empowerment while rewarding customer loyalty.
One of the key highlights came in Lagos, where 69-year-old technician, Sunday Efenure, from Edo State, emerged winner of the N1 million grand prize in the Jolly Wheel draw.
Speaking after receiving his cheque at Gloworld, Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island, Lagos, Efenure explained that he initially doubted the win. “With the rate of scams in the country, I didn’t believe it.
My wife told me to check, and I even asked my son to make verifications about it. When he confirmed it was real, I hurried down to Lagos. I am grateful to Glo for this life-changing reward,” he said.
Another prize recipient, Esther Clifford, from Abuja, received N500,000 under the Jolly Win category.
She described the cash prize as support that came at a critical moment.

Similarly, Christopher Onajobhe from Warri, Delta State, who was awarded N200,000, expressed appreciation to the company for what he described as continuous efforts to improve the lives of its subscribers.
In Ibadan, Oyo State, 39-year-old Taiwo Oni won N500,000 in the Jolly Life category.
His twin brother, Kehinde, who accompanied him to the ceremony, voiced his excitement in Yoruba while announcing his intention to join the promo with the hope of winning as well.
The company noted that stories like these reinforced the inclusive and participatory nature of the Jolly promotions.
Additional winners included Denem Usman Maji from Nasarawa, who received ₦100,000; Godwin Udanna from Onitsha, Anambra State, who was presented with N100,000; and Enugu resident, Ijeoma Anogwa, who won N200,000.
All of them highlighted how the rewards would assist with personal and family responsibilities.
Speaking at the Lagos presentation, Globacom’s Head of Value-Added Services, Mojeed Aluko, restated the company’s commitment to appreciating customer loyalty through initiatives such as Jolly Product Cash Award.
He congratulated the recipients and encouraged other subscribers to take part by dialing *13199# on their Glo lines and following the prompts to join.
Also present at the event was Tolulope Aminu, representing Tetragrammaton International, Globacom’s partner on the scheme.

Aminu urged winners to share their stories and underlined that the promotions were designed to create meaningful impact.
“These promotions are not only exciting but also life-changing, as today’s testimonies have shown,” she said.
The company maintained that the Jolly Product Cash Award remains an avenue to demonstrate its appreciation for the trust and loyalty of its subscriber base.
According to Globacom, the initiative reflects its long-standing vision of improving customer experience through rewarding engagements that extend beyond conventional telecommunications services.
Recipients at the nationwide events collectively expressed gratitude for the financial support.
Many described the winnings as timely assistance, stressing that the initiative provided relief at a time of widespread financial challenges.
They extended their appreciation to Globacom and conveyed their best wishes for the company’s continued success.
Globacom confirmed that the Jolly promos remain open to subscribers across Nigeria, reiterating its call for wider participation.
The company added that future draws will continue to deliver opportunities for Nigerians to benefit from the scheme, reinforcing its position as a customer-focused operator committed to enriching lives through consistent reward programmes.
