A FOCUS on worship and spiritual support for governance will take centre stage during the United States Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast scheduled for 20 January 2025 in Washington, D.C.
Interestingly, Nigerian gospel singer and pastor, Nathaniel Bassey, has been invited to minister at the event.
Organised by Reverend Merrie Turner, the breakfast is a non-governmental and non-political gathering that occurs every four years, preceding the swearing-in of a new U.S. administration.
This year, the event will celebrate the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance.
Moreover, it is set to take place at the Waldorf Astoria Presidential Ballroom, the event will feature speeches by Dr Alveda King and Pastor Mario Bramnick.
Nathaniel Bassey, known for his powerful trumpet ministry and his Hallelujah Challenge worship movement, has made global waves with hit tracks like Imela, Onise Iyanu, and Olowogbogboro to affirm the international significance of gospel music in spiritual gatherings.
