THE SENIOR Special Assistant to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Media, Mr. Nelson Egware, has been inducted as a Distinguished Fellow into the Nigerian Institute of Social Media Analysts (NISMA).

The ceremony, which took place at the Nigeria Police School of Public Relations in Abuja, recognised Egware’s significant contributions to the development of social media management in Nigeria.

NISMA, a leading professional body dedicated to social media training, certification, and ethical practice, inducted Egware alongside other distinguished fellows following a rigorous two-day Mandatory Educational Training and Development (METAD).

The training covered advanced topics such as social media analytics, psychology, fake news management, and the role of AI in virtual societies.

Egware, a seasoned professional with qualifications in accounting, banking, and journalism, has contributed extensively to the media industry.

He is also a Google Scholar with over 15 academic articles published.

He joins fellow Special Assistants Daniel Bayagbon and Christopher Odamah, who were also inducted as Associate Members.
