…4th Consecutive Loss of former Two Time Champion

NIGERIAN BORN New Zealand UFC fighter, Israel Adesanya comeback bid into the kick boxing game early on Sunday morning suffered a gruesome setback with a technical knockout at the Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle in Washington.

His opponent, Joe Pyfer 29-year-old, beat the former two-time middleweight champion with a technical knockout in 4:18′ of the 2nd of their 5-round bout of the main event of the show.

Ref Herb Dean stopped the contest in round 2 when Pyfer threw down bomb punches on the 36-year-old Last Stylbender, Adesanya who had no options but to cover up and absorb the shots.

That was after things got wilder in the 2nd round with both fighters going for the jugulars when Pyfer aka Bodybagz secured his 1st take down slapping on a body triangle wanting to choke Adesanya.

That defeat made it the 4th straight consecutive loss for Adesanya and a massive victory for Pyfer who is now 5th ranked in the middleweight class.

It is not immediately known what is the next step of Adesanya as he returned quietly into the dressing room after the bout.

In one if the fights, Tofiq Musayer won “the bloodiest fight of 2026” after he recovered from Ignacio Bahamondes headbutts with massive flurry elbows that covered him in blood.

Judges returned resilient Tofiq winner by unanimous decision of 29-28, 29-27 and 30-27.

Earlier, Terrance McKinney of America had beaten Canadian Kyle Nelson with a first round technical knockout.

Nelson landed just one strike while Terrance landed 18 strikes and controlled the fight for 11 seconds securing the TKO 24 seconds into the fight.
