NIGERIA’s PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu will embark on a three-day state visit to France on Wednesday, aiming to deepen political, economic, and cultural ties between the two nations.
The visit follows an invitation by French President Emmanuel Macron.
The visit focuses on fostering collaboration in critical areas, including agriculture, security, education, health, youth engagement, and energy transition.
According to Presidential Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, the agenda includes bilateral meetings designed to strengthen partnerships and attract investments in these sectors.
President Tinubu and his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria’s First Lady, will be formally received at Les Invalides and Palais de l’Élysée by President Macron and France First Lady Brigitte Macron.
Discussions will explore shared priorities such as skill development for youths, entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership.
Both leaders will later attend political and economic meetings, including a session with the France-Nigeria Business Council, which coordinates private sector contributions to economic growth.
A state dinner hosted by the Macrons will conclude the visit.
