Top Leaders to Headline Africa Social Impact Summit 2024

THE AFRICA Social Impact Summit (ASIS) 2024 will feature Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, and Jeffrey Sachs from Columbia University.

This summit, organized by the Sterling One Foundation and the United Nations, will take place on July 25th and 26th at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos.

The theme is “Reimagining Progress: A New Blueprint for Sustainable Growth in Africa.”

Jeffrey Sachs, a renowned economist and director at Columbia University, will bring his expertise in global economic development and poverty alleviation.

His insights into sustainable development will guide discussions on creating economic opportunities and reducing inequalities.

Amina Mohammed, with her extensive experience in international development and environmental sustainability, will focus on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across Africa.

Her involvement will be crucial in driving conversations on inclusive growth and environmental stewardship.

Abubakar Suleiman, CEO of Sterling Bank, known for his innovative banking practices and commitment to corporate social responsibility, will also speak at the summit.

His views on sustainable business practices and economic development will help shape the summit’s agenda.
