FESTIVE CHEER swept through Banana Island, Lagos, on Saturday as the community celebrated the 2024 Starlight Night.
Globacom, a leading technology company in Nigeria, sponsored the highly anticipated event, marking the official start of the Yuletide season.
The Banana Island Property Owners and Residents Association Lagos (Biporal) organised the event, which has become a cherished annual tradition since its inception five years ago.
The Starlight Night combined reflection, gratitude, and community bonding.
Attendees enjoyed electrifying performances by Art Afrique and the Society for Performing Arts Nigeria (SPAN).
A spectacular Christmas fireworks display lit up the skies, leaving the audience in awe. Biporal described the evening as an opportunity for families and friends to come together, reflect on the year’s journey, and express gratitude in a serene and festive atmosphere.
Globacom’s sponsorship added significant value, including the lighting of a grand Christmas tree and decorative street light boxes strategically placed across Banana Island.
