NIGERIA’s BANKING sector is set to benefit from fresh talent as 166 Management Trainees graduated from Union Bank’s comprehensive training programme.

The graduation ceremony took place at ‘The Stable,’ Union Bank’s multi-purpose sports complex in Surulere, Lagos, and included senior management officials and staff.

The graduates, who completed an intensive training programme, received their certificates and were encouraged to utilize their technical and soft skills to excel in their new roles.

They were also reminded to uphold the core values of Union Bank as they transition into their professional careers.

Omayuli Wale-Ajayi, Chief Talent Officer at Union Bank, addressed the graduates, urging them to stay focused on the Bank’s vision and mission.

She highlighted the importance of dedication to Union Bank’s strategic goals and the impact they are expected to make.

“Union Bank is always on the lookout for the best and brightest to join our motivated team. You represent the next generation of talent that will help our bank grow. As you begin your careers, remember to help our institution become Nigeria’s most reliable and trusted banking partner by delivering smart solutions that improve our customers’ lives,” she said.

The Union Bank Management Trainee Programme is designed to prepare high-performing young talents to become well-rounded bankers and future leaders.

It aims to build a team of versatile individuals ready to face new challenges and make significant contributions across the Bank’s business units.
