STUDENTS WHO sat the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates can now check their results after the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) released them on Wednesday.
JKNewsMedia.com reports that WAEC announced the release on its official X account, urging candidates to generate their Result Checker PIN on the WAEC website before accessing their results through the WAEC Result Checker Portal.
“UPDATE: 2026 WASSCE (SC) results have been released. Generate your PIN at http://waec.org and check your results now on http://waecdirect.org,” the examination body stated.
To check their results, candidates are told to enter their examination number, select the 2026 examination year and the appropriate examination type, provide their Result Checker PIN and Serial Number, and click “Submit.”
Also, candidates who have misplaced their Result Checker PIN or Serial Number can recover them through the WAEC website by entering their examination number, the National Identification Number (NIN) used during registration, and verifying their identity with a one-time password (OTP) sent to their email address or phone number.
WAEC also advised candidates to print or save a copy of their results and said they can download their WAEC ID Card to their mobile devices.
