RECOGNITION FOR contributions to youth empowerment, leadership and national development earned Comrade Babatunde Abidemin Ademola, Chief Executive Officer of Ephraim International Investment Limited (EIIL), an award from the Arewa Female Students Association (AFSA).
JKNewsMedia.com reports that the presentation took place at the corporate office of EIIL, where members and executives of the association gathered to celebrate the business leader’s achievements and commitment to supporting young people across the country.
Speaking during the ceremony, President AFSA, Ms. Rafeeah Abdullahi Hasaan, described Comrade Ademola as “a man of higher denomination and magnitude,” whose leadership qualities, humanitarian contributions and dedication to national progress have continued to inspire students and young Nigerians.
She said the association found him worthy of the honour because of his exemplary service to society and unwavering support for initiatives that promote education, entrepreneurship and youth development.
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Ademola thanked the association for finding him deserving of the award and commended its members for their commitment to fostering unity and empowering female students across the country.
He said the AFSA should continue to stand as a beacon of hope for both Northern and Southern Nigeria, particularly at a time when the nation is grappling with insecurity and other socio-economic challenges.
JKNewsMedia.com also reports that he stressed the importance of unity, education and collaboration among young people in building a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
“I sincerely thank the Arewa Female Students Association for this honour. Your association should continue to stand as a beacon of hope for Northern Nigeria and Southern Nigeria amidst the security challenges facing our nation. Together, we can promote peace, understanding, and national development,” he said.
The event ended with the presentation of the award plaque, group photographs and renewed commitments from both parties to work towards youth empowerment, educational advancement and national cohesion.
