Report
SOME DAYS ago, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, launched a civic engagement portal through which he expects Nigerians to ask him questions about his past activities and capacity to govern the country if elected in 2027.
Our analysts examined the portal through the continuation of public reception tracking indicators. We found that the public largely negotiated the essence of the portal and raised several issues of personal and national importance.
Based on the negotiation of the portal’s essence, our analysts note that Nigerians are recognising the need to critique the place of such a project as campaign activities intensify across physical and online spheres.
