KEEPING PREPAID subscribers connected despite low airtime balance has prompted Globacom to enhance its Borrow Me Credit service with simplified access requirements and additional borrowing options.

JKNMedia.com reports that the digital solutions company said millions of active prepaid subscribers across the country can now qualify more easily for instant airtime and data through the upgraded platform. Globacom disclosed this in a statement issued in Lagos.

The company said the improved service now includes Borrow Special Data as well as Borrow Airtime/Data for Others, allowing subscribers to obtain airtime or data for friends and family members who may be unable to recharge immediately.

Globacom stated that the service is designed to provide timely support whenever customers run low on credit, although borrowing attracts a service charge.

According to the company, subscribers can use the service in situations requiring urgent business communication, late night academic research or when keeping in touch with loved ones during emergencies.

Also, Globacom said the platform caters for different customer needs through airtime and data bundles ranging from N25 to N4,000.

It also stated that borrowing limits depend on a subscriber’s usage profile and level of activity on the network, with customers who engage more qualifying for higher airtime and data limits.

It added that prepaid subscribers who maintain regular network activity can move across different borrowing tiers, from emergency airtime to larger data bundles.

Globacom said the arrangement supports the sustainability of the service while rewarding frequent users with borrowing limits that suit their digital needs and lifestyle.

Eligible prepaid subscribers are urged to access the service by dialing *303# and selecting their preferred airtime or data option, adding that further details on eligibility requirements and applicable service charges are available on its official website.
