HONOURING NIGERIA’s children and recognizing them as the future leaders who will carry the nation forward, President Bola Tinubu marked Children’s Day on May 27, 2024.

He extended his warmest congratulations to parents, guardians, and families, emphasizing the importance of the family unit in instilling core values such as honesty, modesty, hard work, and charity in the next generation.

The President highlighted the significance of each family in shaping society, stressing the need to uphold these values to foster a wholesome, nurturing, and thriving nation.

He reiterated his administration’s dedication to creating a robust foundation for the dreams and aspirations of Nigeria’s youth.

In his address, President Tinubu detailed the government’s efforts to enhance the educational sector and mentioned substantial investments in education and a comprehensive overhaul of the educational system to improve both human and material resources available for learning.

He also praised the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education for its work in getting children off the streets and into classrooms.

Reaffirming his commitment, President Tinubu assured that his administration is dedicated to providing a safe and secure learning environment while continuously raising educational standards for all Nigerian children.
