CRACKDOWN OPERATIONS by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have resulted in the arrest of 120 individuals suspected of internet fraud across Lagos State.
Operatives from the commission’s Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 executed the coordinated raids at multiple locations, recovering 26 exotic vehicles, luxury jewellery, mobile phones, laptops, and several incriminating documents.
Among those apprehended were 95 males and 25 females, all detained based on credible intelligence and extensive surveillance linked to cyber-related offences.
The anti-graft commission confirmed that all suspects remain in custody pending the outcome of ongoing investigations. Prosecution will follow upon conclusion of the process.
