TRACTION BUILDS around the third edition of the Fidelity International Trade and Creative Connect (FITCC) Expo, set to take place from 18 to 20 September 2025 at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park, Georgia, USA.
With a strategic push to strengthen diaspora and transatlantic business connections, Fidelity Bank Plc has joined forces with Amplify Africa, organisers of AFRICON—the United States’ leading African diaspora business and culture summit.
Their collaboration aims to bridge the gap between African enterprise and global markets through a shared platform of innovation and trade.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank Plc, Dr Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, OON, confirmed the Bank’s commitment to fostering international market access for Nigerian businesses.
Since its debut in 2022, FITCC has evolved into a premier platform championing non-oil exports and driving sustainable economic growth.
This year’s edition expands the initiative’s footprint to the city of Atlanta, unlocking new frontiers for Nigerian creativity and enterprise.
Previous editions in London and Houston generated a combined deal pipeline exceeding US$500 million. FITCC Atlanta 2025 will bring together more than 100 Nigerian exporters with U.S.-based buyers, investors, policymakers, and diaspora-led businesses to explore cross-border investment opportunities.
Sectoral focus will include agriculture, consumer-packaged goods, energy transition minerals, fashion, beauty, and the wider creative economy.
The event programme features exhibitions, business matchmaking, policy roundtables, diaspora investment sessions, and technical workshops aimed at boosting Nigeria’s position in global trade.
Over 3,000 participants are expected to attend, including multinational corporations, chambers of commerce, development finance institutions, and trade agencies.
The expo aligns with broader government-led strategies to expand trade and investment between Nigeria and the United States under evolving bilateral frameworks.
The bank says registration for FITCC 2025 is open at https://www.fidelitybank.ng/fitcc/#start_registering.
Ranked among Nigeria’s leading commercial banks, Fidelity Bank Plc serves over 9.1 million customers across digital platforms, 255 business offices in Nigeria, and its UK subsidiary, FidBank UK Limited.
The Bank has earned multiple accolades in 2024, including the Excellence in Digital Transformation & MSME Banking Award (BAFI), Most Innovative Mobile Banking Application (Global Business Outlook), and Export Financing Bank of the Year (BAFI).
