A WAVE of celebration swept through Abuja as subscribers of digital solutions giant Globacom won life-changing prizes in the company’s ongoing Festival of Joy promo.

The event showcased Globacom’s commitment to giving back to Nigerians through substantial rewards that ranged from cars and tricycles to household equipment.

Amid the jubilant atmosphere, civil servant Sarah Ilya Madu from Borno State emerged the winner of a brand-new Toyota Prado SUV.

Overwhelmed by the unexpected fortune, Madu revealed her initial skepticism when she received the news. “I kept dropping the calls because it seemed too good to be true,” she said.

It took persuasion from her colleagues and a video call to confirm the authenticity of the claim.

Madu eventually visited the Globacom office accompanied by a colleague for reassurance, only to be presented with the keys to her new car.

Another winner, businessman Ufot Victor, drove home a Kia Picanto. Victor shared how his determination to win kept him consistently recharging to meet the promo’s requirements.

“I was confident my efforts would pay off,” he said, expressing gratitude to Globacom for the initiative.

Other winners walked away with tricycles, power generating sets, sewing machines, and grinding machines. Ireimiya Mallo, a SIM registration agent from Nasarawa State, won a tricycle and expressed plans to use it for commercial purposes.

Similarly, Felix Gabriel, who won a generator, lauded Globacom for positively impacting the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

The event drew prominent figures, including Senator Simon Lalong and Senator Yemi Adaramodu, who praised Globacom’s leadership and its continuous support for sports and youth development in Nigeria.

“Globacom is not just a network; it’s a brand that truly cares for Nigerians,” Senator Adaramodu remarked.

Globacom’s Head of Division, North-West, Mr Kazeem Kaka, explained that the promo remains open to both new and existing subscribers.

By dialing *611# and meeting specific recharge thresholds, customers can participate and stand a chance to win various prizes.

The occasion also featured representatives from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) and the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), ensuring the transparency of the process.

Celebrities like Nollywood stars Ebube Nwagbo and Juliet Ibrahim, comedians Tee A, Seyi Law, and Gordons, alongside content creator KieKie, added a touch of glamour to the Globacom’s Festival of Joy promo which they all say continues to resonate as a testament to the company’s dedication to rewarding loyalty and empowering lives across Nigeria.
