A NEW health insurance scheme in Nigeria promises affordable healthcare and a chance to win N1 million in a lottery.

This initiative, a partnership of Globacom and insurance firm AXA Mansard Health, aims to provide easy access to health insurance for Nigerians through a simple subscription process.

The health insurance plan automatically enters all subscribers into weekly and monthly raffle draws.

Each month, one subscriber will win N1 million, offering a unique incentive to join the scheme.

This reward system benefits subscribers even if they don’t use the health insurance services.

Subscribers can access the health insurance plan via SMS, USSD, or the web.

They can select daily, weekly, or monthly plans priced at N50, N300, and N750, respectively.

These plans are available as one-time purchases or auto-renewable subscriptions.

The scheme includes tele-consultations with medical practitioners and free access to drugs and treatments at numerous pharmacies across Nigeria.

This micro health insurance model ensures affordable coverage for people in various locations nationwide.

The plan caters to all age groups and social classes, offering affordable healthcare options for individuals, families, and friends.

Subscribers receive free basic health consultations and medication up to a specified amount, reducing their out-of-pocket expenses.

At the launch event, officials highlighted their commitment to providing accessible and quality healthcare to Nigerians.

They emphasized the combined efforts of the partnering organizations to support the noble agenda of universal health coverage in Nigeria.

The scheme’s innovative design protects subscribers against various health risks.

It provides primary care and hospitalization coverage, easy enrollment, swift claim processing, and affordable premiums.

This new approach aims to revolutionize how Nigerians safeguard their health and well-being.
