HERE’s to say a Happy Birthday to a great icon in Yoruba land.

A Legendary Leader That Has Made A Big Mark In All Facets Of Life, Including Apero Nile Loko.

In Apero nile loko, where God gave me the golden opportunity to “cross paths” with Prof Olufunso Famuyiwa, you mentored and challenged me to be more diligent and result oriented in my duty as the leader of Apero Media Committee.

I vividly remember when the participants for the event at the early stage was not impressive. You called my attention to the urgent need to be creative and “reset”.

Yes, your wise counselling and encouragement paid off. To God be all glory, Apero Nile Loko was a big success but, not without your great contributions, under the leadership of Prof. Segun Gbadegesin.

Hmm! Another great leader I rever so much, regardless of our political differences. Another great listener indeed.

Prof. Olufunso Famuyiwa, you are such a good listener, even when our opinions are divergent and contradictory.

Hmmm!! What a manner of man is Professor Olufunso Famuyiwa! Your sense of humour is unparalleled.

Yes, I learnt a good lesson from you that, leadership is by example. You have shown we, the younger ones the way to lead and, may God give us the amazing grace to follow your path of righteousness.

It is without mincing words I say; You Are One Among Equals!

Thank you for the wisdom and knowledge you have given to us as your children.

Baba Ijesa, Omo Owa Obokun, Eku Orire Eni O!

Age with grace in Jesus name. Amen!!

We shout seven Hallelujah to God Almighty that has granted you long life, good health and prosperity.

It shall always be well with you and your family for the rest of your life. Amen!

Again, Happy Birthday to Prof. Olufunso Famuyiwa, Baba Ijesa.
