Ikeja Electric Announces New Prepaid Meter Prices Effective August 6

REVISED COSTS for prepaid electricity meters will be taking effect from 6 August 2025, Ikeja Electric has confirmed in a public statement released via its official X handle.

The company said the updated prices, which apply to both single-phase and three-phase meters, include Value Added Tax and vary across its accredited Meter Asset Providers under the Meter Asset Provider (MAP) scheme.

According to the notice, MBH Power Ltd will charge N135,987.50 for single-phase meters and N226,825.00 for three-phase units.

Turbo Energy Ltd will offer single-phase meters at N145,608.75 and three-phase at N236,903.13.

Aries Electric Ltd has set its prices at N145,125.00 for single-phase and N258,000.00 for three-phase meters.

Mojec Asset Management Company Ltd will provide single-phase units at N135,718.75 and three-phase at N226,825.00, while Paktim Metering Nig. Ltd will charge N137,600.00 and N233,275.00 respectively.

Holley Metering Ltd has fixed single-phase meters at N133,854.03 and three-phase at N219,497.09, while CIG Metering Assets Nigeria Ltd will offer single-phase meters at ₦150,500.00.

New Hampshire Capital Ltd will sell single-phase units for N133,300.00 and three-phase for N231,125.00.

Ikeja Electric stated that meter provision is subject to availability and reiterated its commitment to transparency and efficient service delivery.

It added that the revised pricing reflects the latest approvals under the MAP scheme and aims to ensure customers have up-to-date information when acquiring meters.

The company however encouraged customers to verify meter availability and pricing details through its official communication channels before purchase, underscoring that the changes form part of its broader metering programme to improve electricity distribution efficiency within its network.
