REGISTERED VOTERS can now access the Preliminary Voters’ Register (PVR) online following the Independent National Electoral Commission’s decision to expand public access ahead of the 2027 general election.
JKNewsMedia.com reports that the Commission announced the move on Monday, 26 October 2026, following concerns from Nigerians and other stakeholders about the need to make the register available digitally alongside the physical inspection exercise.
INEC said the online platform, https://display.inecnigeria.org, would provide access to the same preliminary register of voters previously displayed at Registration Areas nationwide.
The Commission said it conducted the physical display between 9 and 15 October 2026 in line with Section 19 of the Electoral Act, 2026.
It says the exercise allowed registered voters to inspect their personal details and submit claims and objections as provided by law.

INEC described the online publication as an additional measure designed to complement the completed physical exercise and enable more Nigerians to access the register.
In the statement issued on behalf of the Commission by Mohammed Kudu Haruna, Chairman of INEC’s Information and Voter Education Committee, INEC adds that it was continuing to process claims and objections arising from the exercise in preparation for the certification and publication of the Final Register of Voters on 15 December 2026.
Furthermore, it also acknowledged the continued interest and constructive engagement of Nigerians and electoral stakeholders, reaffirming its commitment to transparency, accountability and the implementation of the Electoral Act, 2026.
