A NEW initiative is helping bridge the financial gap for Nigeria’s unbanked and underbanked populations.

MoneyMaster has introduced a leading payment service bank of a 100MB data reward for Glo customers who use its USSD banking platform, *995#.

Julius Arhebun, Head of Agency Banking at the bank, explained that the offer aims to encourage mobile wallet creation, allowing users to easily derive their account numbers from their mobile numbers.

This move is part of the bank’s broader mission to deepen financial inclusion by offering accessible banking solutions to underserved communities.

The initiative complements the bank’s ongoing financial education campaigns across various platforms, ensuring that more Nigerians can participate in the digital economy.

The 10% data bonus is available for Glo users who recharge ₦1,000 or more, valid for 30 days with rollover options.

There is also a 100MB data reward for Glo customers who make transactions via its USSD banking platform, *995#.

Arhebun added that the promotion is part of the bank’s mandate to drive financial inclusion.

He explained that the initiative simplifies mobile wallet creation, allowing users to derive their wallet account numbers directly from their mobile numbers.

Arhebun emphasised that the offer complements ongoing financial education efforts, making banking more accessible for underserved communities.

Additionally, MoneyMaster says it has launched a 10% data bonus for new and existing Glo users on recharges of ₦1,000 or more, valid for 30 days with rollover options as part of efforts to underline its commitment to bridging the financial gap through innovative digital solutions.
