SPECIALIST NURSING training received a boost on Tuesday with the successful conduct of the Post Basic Nursing Oncology and Nephrology Entrance Examination at National Hospital Abuja, marking another step in the hospital’s commitment to developing highly skilled specialist nurses.
Representing the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Muhammad Raji Mahmud, the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee, Dr. Isiaka Olayinka Lawal, a Chief Consultant Urology, welcomed the candidates and commended them for choosing National Hospital Abuja for their specialist nursing training.
Dr. Lawal described nurses as the backbone of quality healthcare delivery and reaffirmed the hospital’s reputation as a leading tertiary healthcare institution recognised for excellence in medical services, nursing education and world class facilities.
He also stressed that the admission process would be transparent, fair and merit based, while encouraging all candidates to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism throughout the exercise.
The hospital thanked all candidates who participated and wished them success in the admission process.
Results of successful candidates are expected to be released by Thursday 6 August 2026.
