A MAJOR crackdown on drug trafficking networks has intensified as the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) declares four associates of Lagos drug kingpin, Suleiman Aremu Ganiu, also known as ‘Barryshine’ or ‘Ejeoto,’ wanted for their involvement in international cocaine smuggling.

The suspects are linked to multiple failed attempts to export illegal substances to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other destinations.

The NDLEA obtained an order from Honourable Justice Akintayo Aluko of the Federal High Court in Lagos to publicly declare Olarenwaju Ramon Abdulai (aka Alhaji Loyingbo), Oluwafemi Akande Abidoye (aka Igbono, Baba Eje, Ade Iwaya, Femi Iwaya), Olumuyiwa Olufemi Ilori (aka Murphy), and Alate Kafy Bakare Bukki of Kaffy Travels wanted.

The court directed that their photographs be displayed publicly, as they remain at large.

Barryshine, the alleged mastermind, was arrested on 26 August 2024 after being on NDLEA’s radar for two years.

As the Managing Director of Barryshine Suleiman Nigeria Ltd, he reportedly orchestrated four foiled attempts to smuggle cocaine through Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) between 2022 and 2024.

Several of his drug mules have already been apprehended, prosecuted, and convicted.

He is currently facing multiple criminal charges at the Federal High Court in Lagos.

NDLEA urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of the wanted suspects to contact the nearest NDLEA Command, call the toll-free helpline at 080010203040, or send direct messages to the agency’s official social media handles.
