Newdawnngr Publisher’s Late Wife, Adesola Abatan, to Be Buried March 7

The final rites for Mrs. Adesola Amoke Abatan, late wife of the publisher of Newdawnngr, Mr. Tunde Abatan, have been scheduled for March 6 and 7, 2025.

A Christian Wake Keep will be held on Thursday, March 6, at 4 p.m. at her residence, Plot 10, Tunde Abatan Close, Idi Mango, Aro Lambo, off Matogun Road, Oke Aro, Ogun State.

According to a statement issued by the husband, the burial service will take place on Friday, March 7, at 10.00am at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Glory of God Zone, beside Shining Star School, Aro Lambo.

He said interment will follow immediately.

A WhatsApp message from Mr. Lekan Otufodunrin, convener of Journalists for Christ, confirmed that Mr Tunde Abatan, publisher of NewDawn Online, lost his wife last week after a brief illness.

He therefore requested for prayers for the family as they navigate this difficult period.

Meanwhile, the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has also expressed condolences to its member, Mr. Olatunde Abatan.

In a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Remmy Nweke, the guild’s President, Maureen Chigbo, and Secretary-General, Olumide Iyanda, described the loss as a painful one for the family and the online publishing community.

“On behalf of the entire GOCOP family, we extend our heartfelt condolences. The loss of a life partner is an indescribable pain, and we can only imagine the depth of your grief,” the statement read.

GOCOP assured Mr Abatan of its prayers and support, while also praying for the repose of Mrs Abatan’s soul.
