PHYSICAL FITNESS and mental resilience are receiving renewed emphasis in the Nigerian Air Force as personnel across formations and units nationwide took part in the third quarter route march exercise.
JKNewsMedia.com reports that the exercise, held in Abuja and replicated across the Service, tested the stamina, endurance and mental resilience of participating personnel, qualities the Nigerian Air Force considers essential to effective military operations.
Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, said the exercise forms part of the NAF’s broader strategy to sustain a high level of operational readiness.
He said physical fitness and mental resilience remain critical to the ability of personnel to operate effectively across the various theatres of operation.
The route march also provided a display of military discipline as personnel completed the exercise across formations and units nationwide.
